vvi - versioned file edit

 

SYNOPSIS

WA2LSimpleBackup/bin/vvi

vvi [file...]

 

AVAILABILITY

WA2L/WinTools

 

DESCRIPTION

versioned file edit.

Prior to starting the editor, the files specified in file... are saved using the savnow(1) (or vsav(1) based on availability) command internally.

This enables to use the sls (or vls and vsav) commands for the edited file.

 

OPTIONS

usage message.

-V
print program version.

file...
list of files to edit.

 

ENVIRONMENT

EXIT STATUS

x
exit state of vim(1).

NOTES

If the WA2L/WinTools package is installed aside this package, the files are saved using the vsav file command, else savnow -d file is used.
